Vienna International Airport (Schwechat) is located about 20 minutes from the city centre by taxi, or 30 minutes by public transportation.

CAT (City Airport Train)
Price (single): € 12.00 - A separate CAT counter is located in the arrivals hall, where you can obtain information about all CAT services, purchase a ticket and much more.
Regular Train (Schnellbahn)
Price: from €4.00 (including travel on Vienna public transport). Ticket machines are on the platforms at the airport and at Wien Mitte.

Travel in Vienna
Tickets for public transportation must be purchased in machines inside a metro station or at a Tobacco Shop and cost 2.10,-€ per trip.
You may choose to buy a 24-hour ticket that can be used in trams, buses and metro for 7.10,-€, or consider taking a ticket for more than one day.
